Writing goals for June, in public

- revise ancientreader's fic for charity (current title: "Things We Lost in the Fire")
- revise the Goblin Market retelling (current title: "Goblin Woods") and send it to Carnation Books
- write ~20,000 words on the silent film book (current title: "A Coracle of Stars," but I literally just started writing is so we'll see if that sticks.
- come up with a solid idea (plot/characters) for an m/m book. It's probably a little too on the nose if I write one about a sulky Soviet assassin, isn't it?

There are a couple of scenes that I know need to hack-n-slash rewrites, but I thiiiiink on the whole the fic is structurally sound. So hopefully by the end of July.

Unfortunately the silent film book got set aside more or less instantly in favor of "Little Red Riding Hood in pre-Revolutionary Russia" (which is also going to have a silent film in it??), but mostly because I feel I need to do some more research to really do it properly. I have ordered two silent film compilations from the library and will move that on to be my next project...

...possibly after an m/m tale of a Soviet spy assigned to work with an American agent in order to honeytrap him, entitled of course Honeytrap.
