Perhaps fail at writing Ned was a little strong. But I've never managed to write a Pushing Daisies fic that really captured the way I feel about the show, which is really frustrating, because its the sort of show I can usually write - the characters have the right kind of conflicts.

I think part of it is that I never quite got a handle on writing Chuck. I couldn't figure out her hook. Perhaps I should write one of these things about her & see if that helps...

Now I want to write more Pushing Daisies fic. No! Do not have time! There is no fandom!!!

Sounds to me like you really need to write a 5 things for Chuck... come at her from 5 different angles to see if you can find the right one. ;)
