Fic: Tea for Two

Oh hey! I wrote a fic! kore took me up on my fics in return for charity donations offer, which remains open, btw, in case anyone wants a fic For Great Justice.

This one is a Natasha fic. I have been vaguely kicking around this idea for ages (which of Natasha's old contacts did she get that file from?) and I'm delighted to have written it before the Black Widow movie comes out and presumably josses all of my thoughts on the matter.

Oh wow, wow, wow. I don't know the particulars of the situation, but that interaction. My heart is breaking for Yelena. (And yet the humor in it too...)

My favorite line: “Oh, Natasha.” Natasha couldn’t quite read Yelena’s tone. “You are already close enough for me to stab you.” Augghhhh!

But also this small detail: Steam billowed from the cup, a brief ghost in the sunlight. --beautiful.

I feel that possibly I include too many descriptions of steam billowing out of tea cups - I feel like I do it every time a character has a hot drink - but it's so dramatic and pretty, though!
