The great thing about singing on the Internet is that it makes me totally in tune.
We are not going to discuss why I'm up at 5:30 in the morning on my birthday; suffice it to say that if it were not my birthday, the day would have some 'splaining to do.
Oh look! Here's the Russian Happy Birthday song!
I find it amusing that, one, while the American Happy Birthday is so simple a two year old could sing it, the Russian song has actual lyrics; and two, while the American song is "Happy Birthday," the repeated part of the Russian song means "Unfortunately, birthdays only come once a year." Oh Russia. Way to see a half-full glass.
