Iced Coffee Dreams

I finished my first draft of Iced Coffee Dreams! I suspect it's terrible even by first draft standards, but WHO CARES, it's done for right now, I can fix it later, rewriting is easier than writing for the first time anyway, and I think the climax is now emotionally plausible rather than complete dreck which is certainly a step in the right direction.

I am going to celebrate by getting myself a hot chocolate when my shift at Starbucks is over this evening. A grande!

Upon reflection I think it might not have reached the giddy heights of emotional plausibility yet; it might simply be slightly more plausible than it was before. But at least that's a step in the right direction.

I am not wholly convinced that late-night hot chocolate is always the best decision... but it's been so hot recently that there is no other time of day when one can drink hot chocolate anyway, and it's no fun to save one's reward hot chocolate till the thermometer begins to cooperate.
