I particularly like the helmet with the decorative mustache. Also the one with horns and eyeglasses. (Nothing says scary like eyeglasses!) And the seashell helmet from Japan...

I wonder how many of these people actually wore in battle and how many were purely parade gear, but nonetheless, they're pretty awesome.

Awesome!! I imagine my favorite one with the curly horns and glasses, would be completely inappropriate in battle. Too many easy handholds.

Yes, I just envision horn-helmet fighting someone wearing a dramatic cape, and the cape's fringe would get caught in the eyeglass frames...It would be an awkward moment.

I think you might enjoy the video I just put up on my page. Too hilarious for words. Go see for yourself. :)

Hee, those are great! The spiral horns and spectacles is probably my favorite as well. Plus the 'grotesques' that look like grumpy middle-aged guys.

Those were *fabulous*. I meant to tell you yesterday, but the day got away from me. The decorative mustache was an absolute riot.

I just imagine the guy in the helmet trying to evilly twirl his decorative mustache. Maybe it could be designed so the ends turn, for proper inspiration of evil?

And he'd have to leave the hinge slightly un-oiled for a proper squeaky-creakiness of evil.

Yes! It would make a fingernails-on-a-chalkboard sound. His enemies would beg for mercy before he even drew his sword!
