Didn't we just have five inches of snow on Monday? That happened, right, I didn't just imagine it?

But today! Today it is springtime; today it is May. The sun shines, the flowers bloom, the birds sing, the college students play their music very, very loud...

Flowers! I haven't gotten any good daffodil shots: I find that it is harder to photograph flowers than you'd think. But here, have some blue flowers in the late-ish afternoon: glory of the snow, they're called, and glorious they are.







And a hat picture, because Easter looms, and Easter is the time of hats. Sadly it is not the most ridiculous hat, but we couldn't get the lighting right for that one.

It's an awesome hat! Do you have a dress to match? And glory of the snow is one of my favorite spring flowers. (Also, I like your icon. Also, busy w/Easter stuff, but totally looking forward to coming back to LJ and checking out your most recent fic once the air clears!)

We did not actually end up buying the hat, but it was so dramatic that I just had to get a picture anyway.

And yes, glory of the snow! Even the name is awesome.

Ha, it occurred to me today that posting a fic right before Easter was probably not my best plan ever. But I had misplaced Easter: I've been perplexed about time all week.

That is a glorious hat! And we had 8+ inches of snow last Monday but this weekend was sunny and warm. I give up, I will never understand this weather!
