Bing and Jane!
All the feels!
Of course Bing quit med school, that explains so much, and I really like how he's learning how not to be tugged around by everyone else's desires for him - that was why he was in med school, that was why he left Jane, because he didn't know how to prioritize or even really think about what he wanted for himself (aside from "for other people to be happy").
And I like how they've kept "I want other people to be happy" as one of Bing's motivations, now that he's getting more in touch with his own feelings: because wanting other people to be happy is a good thing, as long as you aren't willing to make yourself miserable (and don't even notice making yourself miserable - because your own feelings don't even really matter, right?) to do it.
(Kind of sorry we didn't get the montage of great Jane moments and hairstyles, though. :p She has so many pretty hairstyles!)
Also! The preview makes it look like there will be Charlotte on Monday! YAY CHARLOTTE ALL THE CHARLOTTE.

Date: 2013-03-01 02:44 am (UTC)I think the adaptation varies the most from the original (and perhaps not surprisingly, is at its most interesting) with Lydia: Lizzie's attitude toward Lydia, in this version, is one of her prejudices, rather than a just assessment of a silly sister.
