Taking the GRE today!

Rather nervous!

Although right now nerves about finding the testing center are displacing nerves about the test itself. Which might be a good thing? It means that when I actually start the test I will be breathing a sigh of relief about finding the right place, rather than freaking out about the ungodly long test ahead.

(Eek.)

Think good thoughts!

Still waiting for the scores on the essay portion, but it went pretty well otherwise!

I'd say good luck, but you don't even need it. Beast that verbal!

The verbal is beasted! (Is that a verb now?)

You know it.

Is this one of those things that gives you your math and verbal scores right there? If yes, were you awe-inspiring or simply amazing?

Thinking 'em!

Knock 'em dead!

(This comment brought to you by the nonword, "'em")

It must be so hard being a nonword, or at least a nonword that everyone uses. "What do all the other words have that I don't?" sniffles 'em. "I begin with an apostrophe! How many words can say THAT?"

To which 'tis looks superciliously down its [look! an anagram! almost] nose at 'em and says,

"My good nonword, I assure you, a better class of word than you can claim that distinction."

Poor 'em!

Sadly I don't think the people running the GRE recognize sparkles. Which just shows how lacking in imagination they are. :p

So sad. The world would be a much better place if more organizations recognized the power of sparkles.
