Fic Rec: Shimotsuma Monagatari

parallelsfic, which is like Yuletide except in July and for Asian sources, and in my entirely non-biased opinion I received the bestest best story in the whole challenge.
Admittedly I only know three of the fandoms, so I've hardly made an exhaustive inquiry into the matter. (The rest of the stories are here; in particular there are lots of anime fandoms, for those of you who are into that.)
The story is The Burning Legend Continues, Kamikaze Girls 2.0, a sequel to the film Kamikaze Girls (which is also awesome and you should all see it). It involves friendship! frilly dresses! and FIGHTING CRIME!, the three ingredients guaranteed to make a story amazing.
(Seriously. If The Devil Wears Prada involved high-fashion heists, or at least a personal appearance by Mephistopheles, it would be one of my top ten films of all time.)
Also, the author has given Ichigo a fun tough-girl voice, very different from the usual voice used in fics. The story's a hoot; it's worth a look.
