Those caverns sound absolutely incredible! I could not go in them myself, being terrified of caves, but your descriptions are really beautiful. (And I love the idea of a dance with hoopskirts and all held in an underground cavern—that really must have been a sight to see, as well as hear, although the organ that's there today sounds very weirdly lovely). Definitely a serendipitous find!
