Is it this one, or Betsy In Spite of Herself, where Betsy tries to change the spelling of her name to "Betsye" or something similarly ~glamorous~? (You're at the point in the series where my memories of the books are only peicemeal... I'd completely forgotten that Tib comes back after her all-girls' school in Milwaukee??)
