Hello! Thank you for creating something for my fandom! I’m osprey_archer on Archive of Our Own and I’m delighted to see whatever you come up with.
Thinks I like:

David Blaize - E. F. Benson, David Blaize/Frank Maddox
My two favorite English boarding school idiots in love! Equally happy with something technically platonic (but hella shippy as in canon - maybe some hurt/comfort while David is injured at the end of the book?), or a post-canon fic where they get together. Maybe at Oxford? Possibly involving punting? Or walking through the English countryside, or something else lively and athletic. They spend most of the book setting out with cricket bats, after all.
Or this could be a good fandom for pining. I've seen lots of Frank pining for David and I love it, but it might be fun to switch it around: David pines for Frank but doesn't want to let him know, as Frank made such a big deal about David saving him from his beastly urges!
There’s actually a sequel set at Oxford, David Blaize at King’s, which I’ve never been able to track down… except hey! It looks like it’s now available on Google books! But please don’t feel bound by sequel canon in writing your fic; I may or may not have read it by the time the exchange rolls around (and also may or may not like it! I’ve heard conflicting reports).
Mansfield Park - Jane Austen, Mary Crawford/Fanny Price
My beloved Austen crackship. Bored in the quiet countryside, Mary Crawford decides to seduce Fanny Price. Perhaps she'll find herself catching feelings, as Henry did in the book... or maybe she won't! Maybe it remains just a game to her. Or at least, Fanny thinks it's just a game...
(And what does Fanny think of all this? I could see some complicated feelings geometry going on here re: Fanny's feelings about Edmund, Edmund's feelings about Mary, and Fanny's speculations about Mary's feelings about Edmund.)
Shorter, cuter idea (good for a fic or a fanart): I've learned that it was not uncommon for young ladies to dance together at balls if there weren't enough gentleman to go around. I'd love to see Fanny and Mary dancing together, perhaps at Fanny's ball, or simply at a family party.
The Queen’s Thief - Megan Whalen Turner, Costis/Kamet, Attolia/Gen/Costis
I love everyone in this bar, but Costis is my forever favorite in this fandom, so if you're blocked for anything else you can always write something with Costis being honorable and straightforward and seemingly simple (but not stupid!) and I will love it. (If you're going the fanart root: Costis portrait. Or an illustration of a Costis scene.)
In terms of these pairings, I especially love Costis as a foil, because all the others are complicated and even duplicitous as the situation demands, and Costis's simple commitment to honor clearly puzzles them all to one degree or another. This is especially obvious with Kamet: he starts out at "idiot Attolian," moves to "ugh I guess I love him, will still abandon him at the first opportunity though," then risks his life to save Costis multiple times and then - THEN admits that okay MAYBE they are friends. This would be a great pairing for hurt/comfort, snuggling for warmth, that sort of thing - so many opportunities in Thick as Thieves or (off the page!) in Return of the Thief.
I'd also love to see a Costis-eye view of Kamet. We see Costis through Kamet's POV but never the other way around. At what point does Costis decide that they're Immakuk and Ennikar? Clearly long before Kamet comes to that conclusion!
Attolia/Gen/Costis is also an amazing pairing for hurt/comfort (honestly this canon is so good to us in that regard) but ALSO the possibilities for loyalty kink are off the charts. I love Costis's change from "Ugh the king is the WORST" to "I would die for him but he's still THE WORST" to "I LOVE THE KING ACTUALLY." Something where Costis is hurt protecting his monarchs and they look after him a bit? A fic that focuses on the Costis/Attolia leg of this triangle, as it's the least developed? Possibly they bond while sitting vigil over Eugenides after his latest idiotic stunt.
The Wounded Name - D. K. Broster, Laurent/Aymar, Laurent/Aymar/Avoye
I just discovered this book last year and it's SO extra and I LOVE it. Give me all of that incredibly over the top emotionalism! Laurent has zero chill about anything ever and especially about Aymar and it's amazing.
If you're writing something set during the book, I'd love to see a missing scene with Laurent/Aymar: there are so many parts where a kiss would slot right in! The incredible hurt/comfort sequence while they're imprisoned... right after Aymar is tortured by the soldiers looking for Laurent... their night together in the cave... the moment after Aymar's trial when he tells Laurent that he is "a thousand times better than the jartier!"
After the book, I'd love see see something about Aymar/Avoye/Laurent navigating the novel experience of "solve love triangle with OT3." They're all so intensely honorable; how do they make it work? Maybe Avoye and Laurent have to nurse Aymar together. He’s still in pretty rough shape at the end of the book. Being shot by his own men might leave some mental scars!
