Nimue is the "old lady wearing the scarf/young woman with a fancy hat" optical illusion. I agree Mary does come down on one side of the fence, but she wants to really gesture to traditional evil Nimue... I enjoyed the trilogy so much! Wicked Day, let's go (after your holiday).
When the Tiger was so good! loved the meta of it and it felt a lot more dynamic to me than the first story.
