Peak rainy day fun. ---too adorable! I love it! Also, the details about the inn and the omelette-- kind of like a postcard from a vacation, letting child readers experience the place. Really nice.
More alphabet books should have plots that move all the way through. I really loved the alphabet book As I Was Crossing Boston Common when my kids were young. It doesn't exactly have a plot, but it builds.
