It's really astonishing that I haven't read it till now. The book is such a classic!
The hawks in the mews are so amazing. An officer's mess, but make it hawks, and the absolute menace of Cully the goshawk who doesn't really want to bite off the Wart's head but just might not be able to stop himself.
