I vaguely think Dolly got a little bit more development in Jo's Boys, and even though he's a cariacature, I appreciated that she had a boy with learning difficulties there too. But Nat, Nan and Dan are the only really interesting ones among the new characters - the Dan and Nat friendship is adorable. And I did like their pillow fight chapter. All books should have a pillow fight chapter.
