I an just a few chapters in, but so far I really like it! I think you might particularly enjoy the parts about Edith Farnsworth, a female doctor in the 1930s and 1940s; I found it particularly interesting to read so soon after Return to Night, which is about a female doctor at almost the exact same time, although on the other side of the ocean.
