Merry Christmas to all who celebrate! It will be a quiet Christmas for me - a day of relaxation and hot chocolate and reading one of my new books: the massive coffee table book The Civil War and American Art, or Gordon Corera’s Secret Pigeon Service: Operation Columba, Resistance and the Struggle to Liberate Europe.

I ended up reading a completely different book (a Christmas mystery! it was seasonal!) and also rearranging/culling my collection, which was v. satisfying.
