If in a few years a book appears in which a World War II doctor still reeling from the suicide of his last boyfriend finds comfort in a fragile new relationship with a soldier whose leg wounds are nothing next to the wounds in his HEART after the end of his relationship with his loving yet ultimately too dictatorial boyfriend... who I might not make Alec's ex in this scenario because "we both dated the same guy" might be one complication too many... Anyway, you'll know what happened.
