To be honest, I doubt I would have liked it more if they had a more sensitive and subtle portrayal of growing up; I probably still would have yelled "WHY WOULD YOU ABANDON YOUR TALKING ANIMAL FRIENDS FOR BORING OLD HUMANS??"
