Language of Flowers bingo

Many prompts have already been taken.
A tumblr friend requested Ivy, Steve/Bucky and Bells of Ireland, Roller Girl
And someone requested a Briarley ficlet for mistletoe, although I have mixed feelings about writing Briarley fic, I imagine someone finding it and going "This is not in keeping with the book AT ALL and has ruined THE ENTIRE BOOK EXPERIENCE for me" (not that I was thinking about writing something outre, but you never know!)... but on the other hand I have the idea for an AU ficlet where the curse lasts till Christmas and the dragon starts tacking up mistletoe and he's all "It's not like I want to kiss you, it's just that it might break the curse," and the parson is like "I fail to see how this will show that you've learned to love and be loved."
But there are still a few open! Red Poppy for pleasure, orange blossom for marriage and fruitfulness, variegated tulips for beautiful eyes... and of course the wild square for any prompt you like (full list of Language of Flowers prompts at the bottom of this post).

Date: 2020-02-04 04:45 pm (UTC)I haven't decided whether to repost them all over here in the end. Maybe in one big master-post, because they're all going to be so short.
Any prompts that you'd like me to fill? (The complete Language of Flowers prompt list is at the bottom of this post, if you'd like to take the Wild Card.)

Date: 2020-02-04 04:49 pm (UTC)Well, I rather fancy geranium/folly and/or carnation/fascination, and if you're down with self-fics, then either Honeytrap or The Girl and the Wolf?

Date: 2020-02-04 05:08 pm (UTC)Gennady raised his eyebrows at Daniel over his glass of champagne. "What capitalist nonsense is that?"
Daniel tapped the rose at his own buttonhole. "Here," he said, and plucked a red geranium from the bud vase on the nearest tall table at the cocktail party. "You just put it in the buttonhole, like so..."
Gennady was watching Daniel's face as it did it, his mouth drawn in at the corners as if he were holding back his laughter, and it made Daniel's fingers a little clumsy. "There," he said finally, smoothing Gennady's lapel with one hand, feeling just briefly the warmth of his chest underneath.
Just briefly - but still too long. Daniel looked up, and saw his boss, Mr. Gilman, looking at him from across the room.
Daniel put his hands in his pockets, although it was far too late. It had been folly even to speak to Gennady at this diplomatic cocktail party: folly beyond folly to touch him. "There," Daniel said, smiling, trying to pretend nothing was wrong. "A boutonniere. Now you'll fit right in."
