The book was not even a glimmer in my eye when I found this image, but the moment I saw it I yelled "I'M WRITING A BOOK TO GO WITH THAT AND NO ONE CAN STOP ME."

Ah, it's marvelous! I'm feasting, I'm feasting: better than the thousandth holiday cookie, believe me. I look forward very much to the book itself.

ETA to add that I particularly like the detail of the girl's hair trailing away in the winter wind. The counterpoise to the direction of the wolf's gaze is really nice.

Yes, I love the hair detail. It gives the picture a feeling of movement that it wouldn't otherwise have.

I wrote a whole book to go with that image just because I knew it would make a beautiful cover and the cover is STILL more beautiful than I expected.
