Queen's Shadow is one big missed opportunity for a scene where Sabe flings herself in front of Padme to protect her from blaster fire and then nearly dies in her arms as the other handmaidens hold off the baddies, steal a speeder, load Sabe and Padme into it, and rush them to the nearest bacta tank which is nearly not enough to revive Sabe except for the fact that Padme is standing there watching over her and Sabe manages to revive herself from her near death experience through the sheer force of her love for Padme and her stubborn unwillingness to desert her.
I learned somewhere that there was supposed to be a whole subplot about Padme's political activities with the nascent rebellion in Revenge of the Sith, which would have made the movie so much more coherent and also explained why the hell they give baby Leia to Organa, and I have felt BETRAYED ever since.
