I will never get over Obernewtyn. It has left me wary of all of Carmody's books, at least the series, because she never finishes them (did the third books for Darksong or Billy Thunder ever come out?) and it turns out that when she does, the ending is awful. WHYYY.
I'm glad my work holds together well in the end! The secret is ruthless pruning once the exploratory part is done.
