TBF there are a LOT of scenes with Ash + the fairy prince in the woods, so if that didn't stick in your mind than Ash's Trip to Fairyland might not have stuck either even if we got to see it happen. ALTHOUGH MAYBE IT WOULD HAVE. WHO KNOWS. THE SCENE THAT NEVER WAS.
