Aww, i love your flying chair idea! And that's a great idea for a picture book. I had a coloring book like that: it had a series of complex line drawings on the recto pages for you to color in, and then on the verso side there were lines for you to write stories. My stories were really terrible--I didn't so much invent stories as create scenarios for the pictures, and even those were pretty lackluster--but I loved the book anyway and had fun both with the coloring and the scenario-writing.
