This is a good comment, and I don't know. I try to avoid saying too much about mental health issues because I am very much not an expert, but. . .

is it possible to look at depression and anxiety as fixable problems, and also to accept that sometimes they may not be fixed and that's not necessarily the end of the world?

I think it's possible and important, and that these two ideas are not actually opposites. People are different from one another. I don't really know how not to be trite about this. :/
