I'm sorry War and Peace isn't working out for you, but happy that you are becoming a Betsy-Tacy evangelist! Betsy being straightforward with boys and having the best time possible under all circumstances is a role model for all ages, in every age.
I haven't started the 2016 Reading Challenge yet, but I have read several books that I own but haven't read so far -- and does Proust still count if my intimidation evaporated in the first twenty pages and condensed into a gentle continuous rain of pure delight, or do I need to pick a book that intimidates me all the way through?
