EEEEEEE, Peggy flashbacks! (I particularly like itty!Peggy playing at St. George.) And I like that we get Whitney Frost flashbacks too: it sets up a parallel between them, and who doesn't love a good parallel between the hero and the villain? I hope that Peggy comes to a place where she can really understand - not approve, but understand - how Whitney Frost ended up like she did. Internal conflict to go with the external conflict!
I also am hoping for circumstances to somehow force Peggy and Dottie to team up - I can't imagine how, just at this moment, but I have confidence that the writers could come up with something - and they have to fight Whitney Frost together. Probably it ends with Dottie disappearing, with or without a sample of zero matter for the Soviets - actually, I think that if it's without, she wouldn't bother disappearing, because that's the sort of failure Stalin totally killed people for. So maybe - oh! oh! I like this idea! - maybe she ends up defecting to the SSR rather than going back to Moscow to die!
And maybe, years later, Natasha Romanova finds Dottie Underwood's old file - hidden now; the Red Room doesn't want its girls reading about her - and that gives her the first glimmer of a hope that one day, she might be able to get away. She could defect to the SSR's successor organization: SHIELD.
Sorry, I got distracted. Other distracting thoughts: I want a whole side-episode about his adventures with Stark's menagerie. He had to take down the koala with a tranquilizer dart! And the face he makes when he's in the back of the car, knocked out by the tranquilizer.
