osprey_archer26 – What is the oddest (or funniest) thing you've had to research for a fic?
Embarrassing confession time: I actually do very little research for fic. If it looks like I’ve researched something (like, say, the Soviet stuff in the Reciprocity series), that almost certainly means that I read a bunch about it before the fic was even a glimmer in my eye, and probably I capered with glee when I realized that I could work all that hitherto useless information into a story.
