16 – Summaries – Do you like them or hate them? How do you come up with them, if you use them?

On the rare occasion that I come up with a good summary spontaneously, I love them. Most of the rest of the time they make me tear my hair out, much worse than titles, because people don’t seem to make fic-reading decisions based on titles. It’s the summaries and the tags that draw them in.

ALSO I SAW ANTMAN YOU GUYS! This is exciting more because I went to a movie theater than because of the movie itself, which was funny but, well, there were a few scenes where even Scott Lang knew that this really ought to be Hope's movie. Listen to your characters, people. Give the girl a suit.

Also Hank Pym gives literally everyone daddy issues. Probably Scott decided to hang around partly in order to pick up tips on how to be a terrible father so he could avoid that in his own life.

Hoping to see Man from UNCLE too. We'll see if I can talk my brother into it.

I realize that Scott Lang was the hero of the movie, but like I said on my tumblr, I don't understand what he was even doing there.

You know that scene where Hank and Hope have that really emotional moment where he finally tells her what happened to her mother, which he hasn't told her before because I guess he really wanted to join the Terrible Marvel Fathers sweepstakes? And then suddenly Scott interrupts it at the end, and he's super awkward and out of place and he knows it?

Even Scott knows that he doesn't belong in this movie.
