Galavant finale
Jan. 25th, 2015 09:44 pmI watched the season finale of Galavant, and I have thoughts, which contain
Although honestly it's rather hard to spoil something that ended so UTTERLY UNCONCLUSIVELY. The total failure to conclude has taken my interest in a possible second season from "vague, would maybe watch if it was convenient, after all the show is pretty fun and hey musical numbers!" to "UGH NO I do not wish to encourage this kind of cliffhanger!"
Like, seriously. Every single character ends in a state of flux. (Except King Richard's brother, who is dead because Maddalena stabbed him in the back, because Maddalena is the best in a "seriously you are the worst" kind of way. But no one cared about the brother anyway.) Did it not occur to anyone to make the damn story actually wrap up when they realized that they were getting a miniseries rather than an ongoing season? No? Not even a little?
It worries me particularly because this is the same network that is giving us the Agent Carter miniseries, and if they pull the same ridiculousness with that I will be VERY UPSET.
On the other hand. More Agent Carter on Tuesday, hooray! I am looking forward to discovering Howard's Evil Scheme. I also continue to hope that Peggy will recruit everyone in her apartment building for spy lady shenanigans, although somehow this seems unlikely.

Like, if I cared about this show I would be upset. But as it is, I'm just meh. I thought this was sort of a one shot thing, so I thought there would be a conclusion.
