In the context of my story, Bucky is not at all happy about the fact that he used to be the perfect Bolshevik and is now apparently a mess of a human being, without (in his opinion) actually changing that much. Okay, so the time he spent as Hydra's misbehaving weapon roughened up his edges a bit, but still, SHIELD really ought to appreciate him more.
