2008: a year in review

I don't have much to say about 2008 - I figure I've already mentioned everything important that happened.

But I do want to stay that starting this LJ was the single best decision I made this year. The experience has been wonderful, just overwhelmingly positive; I've gotten to know so many wonderful people, and I hope I've made you half as happy as you've made me.

So hugs for everyone, and happy new year.

just so you know, you're one of my favorite people on lj. ; )

love the fic, the recs, the updates + everything. and, just on this theme, i got down to reading the bit of pd fic you sent me and, erm, loved it. (er... my vocabulary is really failing me here. but you get the idea, hopefully.) on that subject, were you looking for a banner-er or beta or both?

You're one of my favorite LJ people too - not only do you provide me with pretty icons/banners, but you're a good fic collaborator too. It's so much easier to get through fics (sometimes the Wonderfalls fic was like pulling teeth) when someone is waiting for them.

I like the Kaylee icon, too! Someone used it on Yuletide and I thought "I must have that" and I spent half an hour tracking down the source to make sure I could use it.

i can do that- conveniently i have way too much free time on my hands today, though i'll say here and now i think you have the pd voice down very well, and the necessary-but-not-overblown alliteration and things.

but the wonderfalls fic was so excellent!
(plus i like having excuses to make fic banner graphics, which i really never do... but they're very fun to put together.) ; )

see, that's why you're a good lj-icon-user. and, yeah, i can totally see why you'd do all the hunting. it's adorable. ; )

I'm glad you liked it! I had a good time writing it - some trouble at first because I just couldn't get them in the same room, but once I figured out a mechanism it started to roll. I hope Elspeth isn't too scarred.
