It's the first time I've read Tam Lin. It's surprisingly hard to get a hold of, given how popular it is/was.
This is the problem with being a hero in a historical fiction novel. It really is written and unchangeable. (Though I find this less frustrating in historical fiction than in time travel books, for some reason.)
