My list of links has been piling up! Here, let me share.
First, the thing that has been linked everywhere already, but I feel compelled to link it here becasue the phots are so enchanting: Russian Mother Takes Magical Pictures of Her Two Kids with Animals on Her Farm. I particularly like the winter ones, particular the ones with the beautiful sled with the curved runners, and the snowflakes drifting through the light.
Speaking of winter, I have some Frozen fanart links: this absolutely stunning portrait of Elsa, another lovely, dramatic fan painting of Elsa - Elsa seems to get all the best fanart - and these intricate cut paper snowflakes, which are amazing even if Frozen isn’t your thing.
And finally, a short poem based on a painting (the painting is included in the file): “The Black House”, which begins
It appeared overnight, the witch's house
a dark pod closed tight, simmering
in the stony wasteland outside the city
and might have been unnoticed if
not for the children who ran back, mouths stained sapphire
and emerald
and as cinnabar as a cardinal's breast,
trilling of treats, of spring, of feathers.
