Yes, they are! I don't have the recipe on me at the moment, but it's based on this Joy of Baking recipe (http://joyofbaking.com/biscotti/AlmondBiscotti.html). I just toss in chocolate chips on top of the almonds to make a full cup.
And usually I use chopped almonds instead of whole almonds, but I don't know that it matters so much.
