Dresses

Went shopping with the intention of buying shorts. Bought dresses instead, which are ten times more adorable than shorts but also probably ten times less useful, so I'm not sure that was a good decision.

But the blue one made me feel like Sybil Crawley (if Sybil could have gotten away with wearing a knee-length dress); I have no regrets.

I acquire, periodically, a sudden interest in self-adornment. I still mean to braid my hair and pin it up into a crown someday, and stick flowers in it like jewels. But that would require acquiring bobby pins, and so it hasn't happened yet.

yaaaaay, dresses! I finally washed one of my favorites that has been sitting at the bottom of my closet for a while (it's hand wash [pfffttshhhhhaaaaaahahaha] & my delicates bags are always full)

Hand wash is such a pain! One of my favorite skirts is handwash, and its been draped across the footboard of my bed for ages waiting to be cleaned. Ugh.
