Off to school; and Obernewtyn

osprey_archerI’m going back to school tomorrow, and in between moving in and training for tutoring (their training schedule is a trifle ambitious: 9-5:30 Monday and Tuesday, never mind my brain will be spaghetti by three) I probably won’t post for a few days. Things should calm down once classes start.
In other news, our old computer is dying so I’ve been digging up my old files and transferring them to my laptop. Rereading my old stories has its cringe-worthy moments—there was a sad, sad time when I thought that “She tilted her head back and screamed into the rain” was a great ending for a story.
But I’ve found some fun stuff, too: a story about a girl who turns her boyfriend into a frog, a story from the point of view of a gold-digger on the eve of her marriage to Mr. Moneybags, and a couple of Obernewtyn fics—overwrought and possibly jossed by The Stone Key (particularly the Domick fic)—but peculiarly entertaining nonetheless.
I may post the fics if I can edit them into something readable.
