osprey_archer | Lee Pace! (and Lincoln)

You guys you guys! Lee Pace is in Lincoln! Lee Pace clearly needs to be in all the historical dramas, wearing suits and making snarky political speeches at his enemies and being incredibly attractive with Byronic dark hair and thick eyebrows. (Apparently I have a thing for eyebrows? See also Darren Criss. And Cary Grant. Possibly James Roday? Actually, his eyebrows are not that impressive. But he touches them all the time in Psych! It draws attention to them!)

Also in this movie: Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Is it just me, or does he look a lot like Heath Ledger? Also attractive! (Movie idea: Lee Pace and Joseph Gordon-Levitt star in something historical as unlikely allies who snark at each other. Possibly they should have a duel! With swords! And maybe big hats with feathers!)

Ahem. I didn’t actually spend the whole movie going “MOAR LEE PACE PLZ. PREFERABLY WITH SNARK.” (Only like...75% of it.) The history stuff is well done - they manage to inject a certain amount of suspense into the passage of the 13th amendment, which is impressive given that anyone with a basic knowledge of history and/or the Constitution knows - spoiler! - that it passes.
