Back from DC!

osprey_archerI am hooooooome! I am back from DC! Indeed, I was back last night, but I was so utterly wiped from the drive - we drove through the Appalachians during the snowstorm Draco, never again - that I ate dinner (my mother's wonderful beef burgundy), fell into bed, and slept through my five-year high school reunion. So it goes.
Photos! I didn't get any of the iconic DC shots, but here are a couple that I liked.
I saw this staircase and cried, "OMG BEST ANGLE EVER! Caitlin! Go up to the landing!"
Caitlin (who does not speak camera): "What?"
Me: "Fine. I'll go to the landing. You can take the photo."
I'm going to a "the skeleton is GOING TO EAT YOU" effect here. Successful?
