Ink and Steel

matociquala on LJ). It’s about spies and the Faerie and Shakespeare! in love! (and totally owns that movie in every way possible) and Kit Marlowe (called Marley) and religion and general awesomeness.
It’s also the first in a duology (the second book is Hell and Earth), so I’m going to hold off on thinky thoughts until I get the second book. They’re very thinky books, and I want to do them justice.
I will say, however, that I bet Kit Marlowe and Captain Jack Harkness would get along great.
Also, because I couldn’t resist (I swear there is a scene almost like this in the book. Really! Sort of. Kind of. Not really):
Shakespeare: (with great intensity) Kit. I want to have your Bibles.
Marlowe: Well, that is a kinky and heretical new take on the whole mpreg trope. I like it.
