Brainstorming

Finished a fic! I feel strangely energized. Now I want to write All The Fic for everything ever, but especially Sutcliff and Downton Abbey. (I should share my terrible, terrible Downton Abbey fic ideas. They are multifarious and nefarious and involve excessive amounts of Sybil.)
Also, I think it would be hilarious to entitle a Sutcliff fic "Ain't Nothin' but a Hound Dog," but I see that someone has already beaten me to it. Then again, I entitled an Attolia story "The King's Guard" despite the fact that there was already one of those on AO3, so.
I want to write a sequel to that story. But I think the sequel would be less adorable and more "So we have all these issues we have to work out before our relationship can go anywhere, like the fact that I am your sovereign ruler and you swore an oath to obey me in all things, and also my wife and I have all these trust issues already on account of she cut off my hand, so possibly our relationship couldn't withstand the stresses of polyamory," so I'm not sure this would be a great idea.
I am always vaguely concerned that I'm going to forget how to write fic, just the way that I was concerned when I was younger that I would forget how to write poetry - and then I did forget how to write poetry, so you can see why I'm concerned. But poetry-writing and fic-writing are quite different skill sets, so this really is a silly concern.
