The Larks Still Bravely Singing cover
Sep. 20th, 2021 10:07 amI realized that if I release The Larks Still Bravely Singing on October 4, the day that I move, I will be MUCH too busy moving to check my Amazon stats obsessively, so it's been all hands on deck to get through the final edit of the proof copy. The edits are done! Now I just need to input them into the actual book file, and then I can upload everything and set the preorder and call it DONE.

I've been waffling about how to price it. It's a full length novel (63,000 words), so I want it to be more than my novellas, which are $2.99... but it is a lot shorter than Honeytrap (110,000 words), so I thought perhaps I shouldn't sell it for the same amount ($4.99)... however, upon reflection I think it's simpler just to have two price points, novella at $2.99 and novel at $4.99. And there's certainly a lot of snuggle for your buck in this one. This book was my pandemic project and it is extremely self-indulgent.
