Television Shows
Jan. 24th, 2019 08:57 amMy flatmate is going out of town for the first half of February, so naturally I thought, “I can take this opportunity to catch up on the TV shows she doesn’t watch! Like…”
A long pause as I attempted to think of TV shows that I need to catch up on. I think mostly I either finished the shows that I was working on, or decided not to continue them, or promised to watch them with someone and then one of us moved so now it’s kind of on hiatus and maybe we should just watch on our own, but I’m not sure that I can bear to watch it without someone to shriek with.
(This last one is Agents of SHIELD)
Oh hey! The library does have Graceland season 3, with Netflix got rid of on both streaming AND DVD, Netflix why, so now I can finally finish that one. (Note to self: I’m on episode 8.)
I should probably also take this opportunity to watch the final season of Orphan Black. It’s been a while since I watched season four so I may have lost the thread of the plot, but on the other hand, I think I lost the thread somewhere back around season two anyway, so presumably it won’t really matter. I’m mostly here just to watch the clones all do their clone thing together. Also super curious to see Helena with her baby.
...Actually, that’s probably enough TV viewing to keep me going through the first half of February, which kind of renders the original point of this post moot: I intended to muse about TV shows I’ve been thinking about watching in the hopes that someone would chime in with cries of, “Yes, you should definitely watch Bunheads!” or “Eh, the 2017 Howards End isn’t that great.” Or vice versa, as the case may be.
I’ve also been considering watching Victoria, because evidently I just can’t get enough of British royalty (have never really felt an urge to watch The Tudors, though). And… oh, ugh, I see Shetland has a fourth season, and I’m going to end up watching it, I can feel it. Maybe this time they’ll let the murderer be a man for once? I have nothing against the occasional female murderer on TV, but when all the murders on your show are committed by women, when men commit more than 90% of murders worldwide…
