Sad panda.

Yesterday, in preparation for all the traipsing I plan to do during my semester abroad, I took an eight-mile hike through the woods. Except for an incident involving a creek crossing (seriously, when you're putting in stepping stones you must remember that some of us are only five feet tall) everything seemed to go well.

Today, I have realized that this seeming was only a cruel illusion, for lo! I have an epic sunburn. And to add insult to injury, my ears are cherry red and swollen and sticking out of my head at right angles, and it makes me look like a woeful panda bear.

*sighs* On the bright side, my "Eat More Cake" shirt is a big hit.
