So I visited my aunt over the weekend, and we went to a hardware store, and at the hardware store they had this:



(Which reads, above the name, "Get hammered and sickled!" Oh terrible, horrible, awful puns. Someone had waaaaaaaaay too much fun with this.)

Obviously I had to buy it. It's just too bad I can't show it to my old Russian professor - it seems to be an occupational hazard of Russian professors that they can't resist quasi-Communist kitsch.

Believe it or not, I have seen that before! XD I think we might actually still have it in our cupboard. There is a shop in Southern/Central California that basically has ALL kinds of bottled soda.

If you still have it we should make, like, a Leninad drinking game. Watch a movie about Communist Russia! Communist joke? Drink! Joke about shooting people? Drink twice! Lenin's name? FINISH THE BOTTLE.

OH OH I KNOW THE PERFECT MOVIE. Ernst Lubitsch's Ninotchka! It has Greta Garbo and is made of AWESOME.
