I don't know how clear the image is, so here's the gist: the shrimpy fellow at the right is still carrying the football. However, the Amazon on the left is probably going to tackle him and take the ball away within the next five frames or so. No, that's not at all Freudian. What are you talking about?
(It's totally Freudian. An uneasiness about women's growing self-assertion underlies a lot of Gibson Girl images, as see below.)
