I liked All the Beauty in the World mostly because it meshed with my sense of how I best experience visual art - I look first, take it in for a long time, develop an emotional reaction, and only then allow myself to look at the description on the wall and learn about the artist, etc.
I do wish there had been more about his interactions with the public because experiencing other people's reaction to art can be another method of developing an emotional connection. But his experiences of being alone with the art and interacting with it in different ways was fascinating.
